Hi All,

I have configured all the services in MSE. From one of the services, i am calling the other service exposed with netNamedPipeBinding.

Note: Both the services are in MSE.

When i examined MSE runtime svclog, i am getting this error.

<TraceRecord>

<Description>Pipe Connection aborted</Description>

<AppDomain>Microsoft.MSE.Runtime.ServiceHost.exe</AppDomain>

<Source>System.ServiceModel.Channels.PipeConnection/33156464</Source>

Then it throws IO exception saying pipe is being closed, there was error writing to pipe. Please let me know if anyone of you faced the same issue & got the solution.

Thanks,

Vivek

Did you provide a port in the MSE endpoint ?

Remove the port from the MSE endpoint. Leave it for default value. Try this. Hope this works.

Thanks, but MSE endpoint is already using default port. No port is configured.

quickly check-> if it is Windows 2008 , then check if the Windows->services.msc-> net.pipe listener Adapter is started. After that , try restarting the MSE runtime service and check if the same error occurs.

Thanks for your suggestion. But this didnt solve the issue.

Proxy in the client side was not closed properly which made net pipe connection aborted. when it is done, this issue is fixed.
