Consuming an endpoint in BizTalk

Topics: Technical Questions, Usage Scenarios

Currently we have a Biztalk application consuming a WCF service which works fine.  I've created an endpoint with a subset of the operations from this WCF service and when I consume the endpoint in Biztalk the schemas generated (by the Consume WCF wizard) seem to be incomplete and missing types (the multipart message types generated have errors because they can't find their type) .  The WSDLs generated by the endpoint and the "raw" service are quite different.  I'm using the bindings that were imported with the service.

Anybody out there have similar problems/observations?

Thanks

Mike

Turned out to be a problem with me not supplying a Namespace or Name for the DataContract attribute on the complex type.  If you don't the namespace will derive from http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07 instead of using the namespace the complex type belongs to.
